The perfect spring dress to brighten up your wardrobe!

So I've made it my due diligence to be more intentional and wear black designers. Target does a great job of highlighting black designers, founders, and creators! This is target's 9th annual Black History Month Collection and they didn't disappoint. The pink dress I'm wearing was designed by Sammy B, who I have to admit I had no idea who she was. But after doing some research her designs were worn by Lizzo, Halle Berry,Gabrielle Union, Demi Lovato, Issa Rae, and the queen Beyonce! I relate to Sammy B. because she was a risk taker like me, and looked like me! This why I love target, they make black woman feel seen and loved so I will always support their brand. Once again target put me on to another amazing black woman.

This dress made me feel good and it is a staple to your wardrobe for only $45. Not only is the print bold and stunning the silhouette hugs the curves in all the right places. I have to admit it's still taking some time getting comfortable in my mom body but this dress makes me feel confident. Most mesh dresses no longer come with slip dresses, and if they do they are to short. But this slip dress is long enough and the size range the dress comes in compliments every body type. I paired it with my favorite pink statement bag from Brandon Blackwood, another amazing black designer that should be on your list. This cute pink tote is a reminder to "End Systemic Racism".
